I had a fabulous time reading for you all at Drag Story Hour - Arizona's Virtual Story Hour with Felicia Minor, sponsored by Bookmans Entertainment Exchange. If you didn't get to see it the video is above. I loved this selection and variety. The audience participation was amazing.
Join me on Saturday, May 16, for an all-new Drag Story Hour Arizona at 11 a.m. on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/dragstoryhour.az as part of Virtual Arizona Pride's Third Saturday celebrations.
I had a great time reading yesterday for the Drag Story Hour as part of the Virtual Arizona Pride weekend.
In Arizona, before the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, Phoenix Pride was supposed to be taking place this weekend but with self-isolation & social distancing it was postponed until November. In the matter of a week, Virtual Arizona Pride was put together and is coming to life! I am excited to be a part of the event in the Virtual Story Hour presented by Drag Story Hour - Arizona on Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m.
I HAD A fabulous time reading to the children and the adult children at Drag Story Hour, AZ at the CQL today with Miss Nature, Freddy Prinze Charming, and Michelle Miranda-Thorstad. Thank you Copper Queen Library (Bisbee, AZ) & Drag Story Hour- Arizona! 💖
Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) is just what it sounds like—drag performers reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.
I had an amazing time kicking off Pride Month by participating in Drag Story Hour at the second annual Haircuts for Humans event. It was a great event benefiting Arizona Trans Youth & Parent Organization (AZ TYPO). The organization provides support and assistance for trans* youth and their parents, families.
