After a week of moving and taking time off from the show! We were back to it and ready to have our Wednesday night conversation. Discussing the issues that matter most to you — like police brutality, police reform, COVID-19, and so much more.

We got back to doing our moment of silence for those who have lost their lives due to police brutality. And just want to remind everyone that there are people falling victim to raids to their home and being shot, being treated like a criminal because “you fit the description,” and for so many deaths being reported — and the ones that we don’t know about. Four officers who murdered Breonna Taylor are still out there.

I also wanted to make it clear that if you are voting for someone this election season. Make sure that you are checking their plans on police reform and if they are standing up for things that you believe in.

We talked about the busy birthday weekend that Freddy had — a kinds of things: fun at the lake, surprise zoom call, etc. all while social distancing. We also talked about how I wanted to cram everything in and I wanted to do everything because I don’t know how to — s l o w down. We were moving and I still wanted to have a show. But Freddy, made the executive decision that I shouldn’t worry about the show and focus on the move. That was just one of the things that I needed to slow down on and realize I might be doing too much.

Which lead perfectly into Just the Tip tonight. We talked about how to take care of yourself mentally, physically and sexually. Mentally be sure to take a break from social media. Remember to take your meds, if prescribed. Physically, be sure to keep an eye on what you are eating. Eating healthy can be a way to cut back on the healthy unwanted 19 lbs. you might have gained in isolation. And remember to have healthy portions and maybe save the rest for later. Sexually, it’s not recommended that you hook up right now — during a pandemic. Please remember to take your prescribed meds like birth control on a regular basis. Set reminders on your phone to help you remember.

We talked about the continuing rise in numbers along with plans of school reopening locally. We also learned that opening up the schools is a great way to — boost the economy. #Back2School shopping has a potential of putting an astounding $85 billion back into the economy. Agent Orange and Demon DeVos are ready to open schools to boost the economy while sacrificing the lives of American citizens. Way to go, America!
