What We Covered

Understanding the Trans Umbrella

It’s 2025, and yet we STILL have to explain what being transgender actually means. Some folks—yes, even within the LGBTQ+ community—seem to struggle with the idea that there’s no such thing as “not trans enough.” So, we laid it all out:

  • Transgender is an umbrella term covering trans men, trans women, nonbinary folks, agender, bigender, two-spirit individuals, trans masc, trans femme, and more.
  • You don’t need hormones or surgery to be valid. People transition in different ways—socially, medically, both, or neither—and that doesn’t make their identity any less real.
  • Drag is not the same as being trans. Some trans folks do drag, but not all drag performers are trans. Let’s not get it twisted.
  • Cross-dressing is not the same as being trans. It’s often a fetish for cisgender men and has nothing to do with gender identity.
  • Nonbinary people don’t owe anyone androgyny. They can present however they want and use whatever pronouns feel right for them.

At the end of the day, gender has been fluid for centuries. If you still think nonbinary identities are a “new trend,” it’s time to do some research.

Dump Truck Politics and Tesla Chaos

You knew we had to talk about it. Trump decided to turn the White House into a Tesla dealership after stocks plummeted and is now encouraging all his MAGA followers to buy in. The irony? These are the same folks who swore off electric vehicles because they were “woke.” Now, suddenly, Teslas are the new MAGA must-have.

And if that wasn’t enough:

  • Trump is labeling any violence against Tesla dealerships as “domestic terrorism.” You can’t make this up.
  • The Arizona Supreme Court is rolling out AI court reporters. Because what could possibly go wrong with robots delivering legal verdicts?
  • Canada clapped back at U.S. tariffs by slapping a 25 percent surcharge on electricity sent to northern states. Petty or justified? You decide.
