I can’t believe that we are ended the ninth season of Let’s Have A Fefe with Felicia “Fefe” Minor and Freddy Prinze Charming. There was not really a creative break between the eighth and ninth season so it quickly became a blur. It’ll be good to take a break and adjust to what will be life.
On this episode we talked about vaccinated friends and game nights which led to talking about a health balance in relationships including when a child is in the picture. Many of you sounded off and talked about independence and not letting the child become your identity. It was an insightful conversation.
We were asked about what we thought about appointments in pageantry. I think that for the pandemic it’s fine and if done as a system collectively. Otherwise, I am not sure if it is equal, as deserving or fair to other contestants if there is a national pageant.
We talked about the latest to be going on in politics including anti-trans bills, athletes turned pop culture turned politician supporting anti-trans bills and other disgusting bigots trying to make laws on things they have no right to be making laws about. We also got into the way that privilege can make the trans experience look like “magic” and that’s not really how it works.
There were so many things covered in this episode! I think that it should fill you up until next season. We look forward to seeing you in the fall. Be sure to catch up on this episode and other past episodes on facebook.com/letshaveafefe or youtube.com/letshaveafefe.
