It was a pleasure to help Sassy C. Diazz as she prepared to be the first femme entertainer compete for Miss Phoenix Pride at the pageant on Sunday, March 18, 2018.
Though she didn’t win and placed sixth, I think she made a bigger statement by going through and competing and being a model in the femme community, especially when facing the barriers of those who say females can’t be the drag entertainers or represent the community.
