#CyberMonday & How We Keep Materializing Christmas

What I think of #CyberMonday.

Let's Have a Fefe

It seemed that every time that I cleaned out my inbox that another retailer that promised me, like the others, that they will not spam me with advertisement emails flooded my inbox. I sign up for these retailers for the occasional coupons here and there. But this was like trying to escape water on a sinking boat.

Needless to say, in the beginning, I fell victim to the train wreck of Cyber Monday deals that told me that I would save more and more than I usual do. I looked it didn’t seem like I was going to be saving that much compared to years where I got a

#WorldAIDSDay as I see it.

Let's Have a Fefe

Many say that I may be too young to know about the effects and the impact of HIV/AIDS had on the world in the 1980’s. Never assume such a thing, from a young age from my parents, my mother mostly, were able to explain things to me so that I would understand them and feel educated about topics such as sex, STD’s. Though I didn’t know people with the HIV/AIDS at the time, it was one of the causes that I was compelled to be more educated on more than anything because it continued to be an epidemic.

It really struck home for some when celebrities started falling to their deaths because or retiring because they had contracted the virus or had AIDS. My mother was great about explaining things like this to me. Once I was old enough, I volunteered at the local American Red Cross where my…

#Dream – Inspirational Video

I found this video very motivational and inspiring. Just wanted to share it with you.

Say It Loud & Proud

Let's Have a Fefe

Whether you are in the bright spotlight and looking into an audience every night or sitting behind a desk, you wonder is tooting your own horn a bit too much.

In some cases, if you overdo it could come off cocky. If you find the right way to promote yourself and letting the world know about your accomplishments, it should be fine.

According to DailyWorth.com’s How to Get Ahead By Talking a Big Game, it’s okay to be out a let people know what have been up to with accomplishments and such. Just remain humble and not reach for that hashtag #douche status. There’s research that shows that career advancement can depend on if you toot your own horn or not.

Here are some things that I took away from the article:

  • Don’t undervalue yourself by thinking how you think someone values you.
  • When working in a group, highlight…

The Truth Of It All Is…

Let's Have a Fefe

The Truth of It All Is…. when working with someone on a personal or on a professional level it’s important to build a relationship. This relationship will be formed by words of trust, loyalty and reliability. It’s important to stand by your word make sure that you do everything you can to make things happen.

When you decide to further your relationship professionally with someone and tell them all the wonderful things you can do to develop the relationship, that person is trusting you will do what you said you would do. Now, I understand that we are only human and that mistakes can be made or situations make occur that we have no control over. But if something that you promised or have given your word to does not work out, please be professional about it and let the person, and those involved, know. Make sure that you let…

Truth of it all… I have…

Truth of it all... I have been doing this almost five years. My happiest moments are when I am supported by my husband and the audience. I love when people get involved and tell me later they had a great time. As time as gone on, I probably have forgotten to remember how to embody character and enjoy the hell out of myself.
