Thank you to those of you that came out to The Rock in Phoenix to support Dragtini Wednesday!
Personally, the show was a great success because I had done something outside what I usually do. I put on Facebook that we were going to shut down the RnB machine and rev up the Country! I enjoyed the fun and some of the comedy that I seem to find with some of the parodies that I did.
During my journey of trying to find country music, I also learned about African Americans that paved some way for the country folks and for some of the modern music that we listen to today, like Ray Charles, The Pointer Sisters and so many more. In fact, I found a modern African American Country Singer and did 3 of her songs for the Dragtini event, that we host on the first Wednesday of every month at the The Rock in Phoenix.
The next month is going to be another challenge for me… finding songs that are “Back to School” related. It’s going to be so much fun! I hope to see you there and you can let me know what you think.
As always, I appreciate your love and support for what we do and what I do personally. It’s amazing. Thanks again!
Until next time,
Felicia K. Minor
