It was a different kind of Wednesday night conversation this week — Freddy was out battling a migraine, so I (Fefe) held down the fort solo! But you know me, the show must go on, and there was plenty to talk about.

I shared some updates from our busy weekend of community events — from Drag Bingo at Drink Me! Tea Room to the Dia de los Muertos festival and Trunk or Treat at Brick Road Coffee, where Freddy and the family set up a full carnival experience complete with games, candy, and laughter. It was a great reminder of how drag, community, and connection go hand in hand.

In this week’s “Just the Tip,” I gave you quick, creative, and hilariously affordable ideas for last-minute Halloween costumes — like Cereal Killer, Plant Daddy, and even a DIY Cactus look made from pipe cleaners and a green hoodie. Who says you need a big budget to have a big moment?

Then came “A Closer Look at Current Events,” where we dove into the headlines making us say “WTF?!” — from the Texas Attorney General’s lawsuit over Tylenol to global news stories that remind us the world keeps spinning, no matter how wild it gets.

Even without Freddy in the co-host chair, the energy stayed high, the laughs kept coming, and we kept it real — as always.
